"In regions such as the Northwest or the Ricote Valley, this is a real problem, to which we are already responding," says regional spokesman Miguel Sánchez

Citizens have taken seriously the problem of depopulation suffered by some municipalities and regions of the Region.

Therefore, it has introduced during this legislature several items to set the rural population, and in the accounts of 2019 for the first time a specific to stop rural depopulation, endowed with 200,000 euros.

This was highlighted by the regional spokesman, Miguel Sanchez, during a visit to a mountain farm in the hamlet of La Encarnación caravaqueña.

"This farm and many others in the region have already benefited from the aid for 2.6 million Citizens introduced into the regional budget, in order to maintain, grow and can set the population of these regions to create employment and opportunities, "said Sanchez, who also recalled that in this regard, aid is also included for 11.5 million for reforestation introduced by the orange formation in regional accounts this year.

"There are regions like the Northwest or the Ricote Valley where depopulation is a real problem," added the regional spokesman for Cs, "and to put a stop to it we design this series of games, distributed throughout the entire legislature".

Citizens recently held a technical conference in Ojós where this problem was addressed, and from which emerged the proposal to introduce for the first time in the regional accounts a specific item against depopulation.
