The second shift of the Agricultural Employment Promotion Program in Ricote starts this week (13/11/2019)

A total of 11 unemployed have begun this week the work of the II PHASE included in the report submitted by the City of Ricote in the framework of the Program for the Promotion of Agricultural Employment in this municipality, whose shift will last until next January 12, 2020

The municipality of Ricote receives a total of 91,506.07 euros for the hiring of 34 unemployed under this project for the call of the year 2019 that takes place during autumn and winter.

The works will allow the cleaning of rural road and road ditches, the preparation of waterways and other green spaces and public infrastructure.

Ricote City Council presented, in this edition, a report of the 35 submitted by the 22 municipalities of Murcia included in this plan that is fully funded by the State Public Employment Service;

and that it was approved by the Regional Monitoring Commission for said project.

The distribution of 5,014,806.87 euros was approved among 22 municipalities in the Region of Murcia for the hiring of 1,300 casual workers from the most depressed rural areas.

The Agricultural Employment Promotion Program is intended to improve the situation of the group of temporary agricultural workers in the Autonomous Communities of Andalusia and Extremadura and in depressed rural areas, including the Region of Murcia.

The subsidies are used to finance the salary costs and business contributions of unemployed workers hired by Local Corporations and other Administrations for the execution of projects of black and social interest that meet the following requirements: that are the responsibility of Local Corporations , which are executed under a direct concession regime, and favor the training in and professional practice of the unemployed.

The maximum amount of the subsidy to be received by the beneficiary entities will be equal to the result of multiplying the number of unemployed workers hired by the number of months of contract duration and by the total salary costs for all items in the same amount as the one set. for the salary according to the current agreement.

The I PHASE began on September 13, ending it on November 12 and in which 12 unemployed were hired.

The III PHASE and last one will take place from January 13 until March 12, 2020, with 11 more unemployed being hired.
