The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, today chaired Ojós the constitution of the Commonwealth of discharges Ricote Valley, composed of the municipalities of Murcia, Ricote, Ulea, Villanueva and Ojós, which have a common purification system Through leading collectors of wastewater to the treatment plant five municipalities of Archena.
According to the Minister of Agriculture, "this formula regulates relations and obligations of the different entities that provide discharges of wastewater to the same infrastructure."
The obligations of municipalities through this new legal form is to assume ownership of discharge versus basin organization and pay the Canon Spill Control in proportion to the annual volume generated in each municipality.
The municipalities undertake "solidarity" to care in their sewerage discharges discipline.
The collection and common treatment of wastewater from different urban areas, rather than in small installations of each core, "is a very appropriate technical solution for the advantages of both the quality and guarantee of water obtained as in considerable economy in the unit cost of treatment, "said Cerda.
The aim of gathering where possible the waters with different origins in a single sewage is collected in the General Plan of cleansing and purifying of the Region as a basic guideline and also in the legislation of water, which establish the procedure to formalize by establishment of a community of discharges with legal personality.
The Bank of cleansing and purifying (ESAMUR) has collaborated with municipalities connected to this system commonly used to provide the documentation and perform its consideration by the basin organization.
ESAMUR be responsible for the operation and maintenance of common facilities.
